I've tried to search this topic but could not find an answer if this will work with my year bike or not. I am trying to relocate my license plate below brake light and have seen quite a few options out there, like the soft brake relocation bracket, newer RK light bar assembly, kuryakan light bar, the expensive genuine Harley light bar, and a few others out there. My question is if any one knows if the rear light bar assembly from the older street glides 06-08 will work on my 2007 FLHTC? This assembly looks identical to the license plate relocation light bar that harley sells. Another question is if the newer RK light bar will fit with my year? I have seen the new RK light bar work with a newer 09 FLHTC but not with my year.
The SG light bar will be a simple swap. You will need to give up the fender tip light since the connector it uses is needed for the tag light in the SG bar.
Also, to avoid interference with the fender tip light, HD uses a replacement piece in the relo kit to replace the tip light housing.
