I have a 2012 Street Glide with a 103" motor. I'm a heavier rider and I'm looking for a cam that starts pulling early. I'd really like to get my bike sounding nastier at idle. I like that old school Harley lope. If anybody has heard these cams idle in a 103", please give me your opinion of how they sound. I heard a TW-777 idle and it sounded great, but I'm afraid that cam won't have enough on the bottom for me without head work. Thanks for any input guys.
I had 204 in my 2005 Fatboy with a 95" engine and loved them, when I do cams in my Rooad Glide it will be 204 in my 103. There are a lot of riders on this forum using the 204 Im sure you will get a lot of other opinions.
88/95/96/103 are different. I recommend Andrews 57 in stage 1 103s. But 222 will be a better choice than 204s in 103. If ya go with 204s think about high lift rockers and .030 head gaskets. Good luck!
I want something that pulls around 2000-2500 to around 5000. All three cams mentioned seem to fit the bill I think, but I'm not to sure how they sound. This was the first thread I've seen that somebody knocked the 204's on a 103 so that's got me thinking 222's, but I hear they're a very mild sounding cam. I'm starting to lean toward the 777's with fuel motos b heads, but I wasn't looking to drop that much cash right now.

Here's some sound advice. Call Andrews tomorrow. Tell them what you've got, and what you hope to gain. They have an awesome customer service department. They will probably steer you to the 57h. They put me on a cam for my engine that did exactly what I asked it to do...
The SE204 is a tried and true cam for the stock 103 builds. You can add 1.725 rockers for a little extra lift, but the difference seat-of-the-pants is negligible. (se204 at stock lift vs se204/with 1.725 rockers). I ran those cams both ways in my 103 build. If I were to build another stage II 103, I'd either go with the 204s, or with tman 555 torqsters. If having a nasty idle is also important, the list gets pretty short, pretty fast.
If you are looking for "lope", go with overlap, ya aren't gonna have bottom end and injected bikes don't really lope much no matter what ya do. Me, I''m a performance guy?
