95" 10.25:1 with mildly ported heads and stock springs Road Glide. What will give the best low end torque without changing the stock valve springs? I am putting the S/E cam plate upgrade with the bigger oil pump. Not interested in gear drives of other cam plates.
I avhe a set of Andrew's 26"'s but did a little research and it seems they are designed for stock compression. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.
I actually ran a 54 in a high comp (10.5) 95" it was impressive. Power started around 2800 and was wicked all the way to the limiter. I didn't have much headwork, just a cleanup.
I want power from 2000 rpm on. 2800 is a little late in teh band for a bagger in my opinion. I'll make a few calls when I get a chance. As the biek si now with the se 251 power hits around 3000 which makes no sense on a bagger. On my Dyna the Andrew's 37's are great but that is a completely different kind of ride. Maybe Scott from Hillside will reply. He seems to be quite knowledgable on the subject.
You may want to consider these:
Woods TW-555
Woods TW-777
S&S 570 (could go with a gear drive with this cam)
These would all work well with a 95" with your 10.25 compression. With your comination and the head work the TW-555 or S&S 570 would be a great compliment to the rest of your parts.
