Whats a good price for a 70 year old's 2004 5400 Mile Red Stock EFI Road King Custom. He has the huge ugly pillow seat and a back rest. MS Shades Fats. Wants $11,000
I rode a carbed 2005 with 3400 Miles but it was missing now and then at hwy speeds and vibrated at all speeds. That was a dealer asking $11999.
Not a big fan of the TC88 But with those miles not too worried. Ridng them next to my YAmaha 1300 was interesting. Both Harleys made their max torque at lower RPMS. Good off the line but no match for the 1300 Yamaha in the Mid range.

Fair Price. I just sold mine recently for $10,800. It was a 04 FLHRI with 11,00 miles. It run great and was in near new condition. On another note, personally I would not go back to a carbed bike, but is just me.

Thanks. I will pass on that one. I cannot pay up to a bike that my current ride will out perform. May have to go with a Vic at those prices.
The price sounds fair but, I would offer $9K and see if he goes for it. If you have that in cash in front of him its more likely to happen. I paid $10K out the door last year for a 05 Road King that had 23K on it.
9/9500 is about all I'd do. I just sold my 04 Classic to a dealer. I doubt he is going to get a offer above 9 for a RK Custom. The custom's seem to sit and sit, they seem considerably less desirable than the Classic's or standards.

I would have done that if the bike was not on consignment. For all I know the seller who supposedly is 70 years old would take $9000. The dealer wants $11K Not going to happen. Not on a TC88
Consignments are tough. That bike is worth $8000 on a trade to a dealer. I would not pay more than $9000. Tax is capped here at $300 so its not a factor. A friend of mine out west just paid $10K for an 07 FLHRSI with 6800 on the clock. Better deals are out there. Between HD and Victory I will find a good bike. Just need to be patient and keep learning about both brands.
The more I read and watch YouTube and learn about the TC88 the less I will pay for one. If I buy a Harley it will have to be an 07 96 or up.
