I have the opportunity to buy a 2007 Ultra Classic with around 60,000 miles on it for around 10 grand. This will be a second bike in addition to the king, it has new cruise module, new drive belt and pulley, new brakes and tires. Comes with V&H true duals, heavy breather ac, fuelmoto fuel pak. owner says never laid down, ridden daily, and locally serviced. Is there anything I need to be concerned with as far as the high mileage of the bike, I did the math and thats about 10,000 a year. also do you think the price is fair?? just looking for some opinions before I take the trip to look at it.

I would save the 10K and ride the RK and wait to buy a new one or another used one with less miles, but that is just me. I found my 04 RKC with 4500 miles on it for 11,000

If I do this I am still keeping the RK and adding this one to the stable as well... Wife wants an Ultra for longer trips (comm system, stereo etc...) I am attached to my RK and really don't want to trade it in just yet but that option is on the table as well.
Ultra is a great touring bike but the miles are a bit high for the price imo. When I bought my EGC I paid 10 grand and it only had 20,000 miles. Bad time of year to find super deals being the season and all, but I would hold out for something with less miles if it were me. They are out there. Good luck what ever you decide
Well the wife has convinced me not to buy a second bike however.... we have decided to trade in our 12 RK on a 13 Ultra Limited, went down and talked numbers today and after my trade in looking to walk out paying just over 11,000 for it! pics to follow once I take delivery

Wow. Pretty sure your wife isn't related to mine. Bet she didn't have to twist your arm too hard!
