So I'm on my way to work this afternoon. Cruising down the highway on my RK at about 70 mph and enjoying the gorgeous sunshine and 75 degree temps. I'm right behind some oblivious assclown in an SUV when all of a sudden he has a sudden urge to wash his windshield! Who does that? I got a second shower even before I got to work! I couldn't even give him the finger when I got up along side him cuz he was off in la la land and never knew I was there!
They're out there folks. In full force. Watch out, be careful, and ride safe. Rant over.
I hear you. The other day eating their Big Mac, not even paying attention, just pulled out in front of me. Did not know I was even near them, chomping on their food. Watch out guys and gals.

Yes, that had to suck. But that guy didn't see you and if he did, he didn't care.
Like you, I'd be tempted to flip'em off. But more and more I don't. There are so many unstable people out there. Lots on prescription drugs, lots w/ too much stress, others w/ road rage tendencies. And a lot of them, just like us, carry too.
They're in a 2+ ton tank. We're on an 800 lbs bike. I don't like those odds.
They do something stupid. We flip'em off. They escalate. Suddenly it can get very dangerous for us.
Better to just back off, let it go and ride home safe. May not be easy to do at the moment, but it's the smart move.
I'm not preaching to anyone. It's just my evolving philosophy on trying to stay alive and enjoy my bike.
