I've had them on my bike about 5 years now. My only complaint is the load equalizer. It was/is a POS because it can/will melt with if you do things like leave the blinker on too long or use your hazards. (Note that they suggested not doing these things in the directions). It's possible they have improved this part of their product over the years. If not, I would highly suggest using a different brand of equalizer.
been looking to add some rear led lights to my 09 rk... ive been looking at the kuryakyn panacea turn and rear led light kit... anyone have these? how do you like them... i can get the whole set 40 bucks cheaper at dk... are they worth the cash?
They were on my 07 ultra when I bought it. They're bright LED's. You can set them to pulse with the brake light. Now I just have to get out of the habit of flashing the brake lights manually. Old habits die hard!

I had to install two in mine to get it to where my red security key light didn't flash when my turn signals were on. Customer service told me it was because of my Tour Pak LED's.
So do the load equalizers come with the kit or are they separate ? Is one equalizer good enough or do I need two ? Do these lights put more of a drain/charge on the battery?

The taillight kit came with one. You could try one and see if it works. I purchased the second one on the advice of Kuryakyn customer service because the issue was not with their product, but with the HD light. They use less power, so less of a strain in the electrical system.
So the LEDs use less power? What equalizer comes with the kit? I see the sell the alarm compatible and then they sell a self regulating one... Which ones will I need?
I'm very happy with my Panacea kit. My gauge voltage increased significantly due to the reduced load. Other than my gauges, I'm completely L.E.D. now. All of my lights are much brighter than before. No negative tradeoffs.
so I contacted kuryakyn today and he stated that it comes with a load equalizer and that's the only one you need. he said that adding another load equalizer would have no benefits at all
Hi, I'm so glad I came across your post. Your lights are just the set-up I'm looking for my 2005 Road King. How is the set-up? Are you using the panasea and blinkers with the triple play as the controller with CD's equalizer? Both Techs from kury and CD said it will not work. Figured they were trying to sell their system. If you can tell me more how it's connected I would appreciate it. My email clemente_v@yahoo.com. Like your apes another upgrade from my 9". I really like the 16 but don't if I can handle tight turns in parking. I'm 5'5". Looking forward to your reply.
