Yes I agree , you have to always type RKCustom or you will get confused with the classic .Love the RK "s the Custom looks more streamlined than the Classic . And there are less of them that I see on the road . Thats my opionion and Im sticking with it.
I have to agree on black pearl.. I ended up settling for Black Cherry Pearl, because I could have it in 3 weeks rather than 3 months.. I ended up not settling after all.. The black cherry looks fantastic when clean, but like the black pearl, it gets dirty pretty quick..
Wow -- there are alot more customs out there than I realized. Mine is black cherry pearl -- love it. Beach bars are comfortable and it is overall just a nice ride. Added an aftermarket tour pak on a detachable rack (also black cherry pearl). Just needed some more space.
My 06 Road King Custom is my first Harley. It is Black with chubby apes and SE exhaust. I love this bike. To me it is the best combo of class, style, and comfort. Plus I can have a comfy "Bagger" and not look like an old man. I am only 27 after all.
i've always loved the look of the old 40s and 50s model Harleys and to me, the RK Custom is cut out of that mold. it just looks how i think a bikeSHOULD look - that is why i bought the '04 RK Custom that i'm pickin up on Saturday.
