Default Boots

Does anyone have these boots?

http://www.redwingshoes.com/productd...px?prodid=1070

I can't find reviews on them, I want to know if they are really waterproof. I have had boots before that said they where waterproof but found out after getting stuck in a storm that they where only waterproof to a certain point.

Any advise or suggestions on what boots to get would be appreciated.

I am looking for something with a zip or Belt release so I don't need to fuss with laces every time.

Thanks.[/align]

I dont have these because after a trip to my red wing shoe store I found out, who ever designed them was a idiot! Zipper is on the outside of boot, and they chromed it so first its very visable to everyone, Nothing like having a tuff scoot and then have everyone know you wear zip up boots(every other zip boot has zip on the inner side) also by being on the outter side it was harder to zip them up. Oh and they are made in China, red wing use to be a top american built boot, not anymore. Doubt you will will find a zip waterproof boot, most would leak at the zipper.

the best most comfortable boots around are cruiser works. HARLEY FXRG are also good. Both are waterproof.

Go with the Cruiserworks boot, you won't go wrong. I searched for about 6 months before I bought my boots. After all the research and shopping, I ended up with Cruiserworks. They are by far the most comfortable boot I have ever worn and 100% waterproof.
What else can I say!

Yep, another vote for Cruiserworks boots. Look nice, good for walking around in and waterproof.
Not water resistant, but waterproof.
