I've never used that vest, but I used something similar when I was deployed in Iraq, where it gets a bit toasty. I flew Blackhawk helicopters and it would routinely reach 140-150 in the non-a/c cockpit (120+ outside). We would wear a cooling vest under our body armor to cool our vital orgins, and it was the weirdest thing because my body would be cool but my head, arms and legs would be baking in the heat. Some guys didn't like it and would just rather take the heat. Either way, drink plenty of water the day before and stay hydrated during the ride. It'll be hot, you know this so just prepare for it, drink water like crazy before and during the ride and you'll be fine.
I ride in the Summer heat often. Long sleeve shirt for sure, camel back is a must, and to keep the hot air from ramming up your nose believe it or not a good vented full face helmet with a dark shield I have found to be best comfort. When you do stop your head will sweat but then when your moving the venting in the helmet turns into an A/C to cool you down. The skull caps and bandanas are not as effective as a vented FF helmet. I know riding in the heat with a FF helmet sounds strange but keeping the hot air from ramming down your lungs will increase your endurance on a long ride.

Holy Crap!!! God bless you. A 21 million dollar machine and no AC lol.
It rarely gets above 100 in NY state here but last year it did break a 100 for a few days and I thought I was going to die. As others stated a blast furnace.
I can't imagine riding a long ways in it. Good info in case I ever have to go the distance in the heat.
I like a vented 3/4 helmet with a mirrored face shield to keep the "convection oven" heat blast and sun off the face. Cotton white long sleeves work for me, like many said, expose as little skin as possible imho.
I put a collapsible cooler with ice on bottle water in it in my tourpac. Bottled water in a foam cooler in a cup holder on the bars. Long sleeved lite cotton tee ***** with a lite cotton type meshed vest.
