Made a primary locking bar from 1/2 x 2 alloy bar.
I've been looking online and it seems the IPB taking a dump is a far too common occurrence.
Can't even find an upgrade for 09 and up bikes.
Guess ill have to accept that it needs changing every 20000 miles or so.
No , you wouldn't need to replace it that often, if you would ditch that factory AUTO tensioner, put in a Hayden, Baker, or SE, it will make a big difference in bearing wear.

Ordered the Hayden last night, read some comments on here and decided that the HD auto tensioner had to go.
I just hope it's just the IPB that is toast and there has been no knock on effect to other bearings.
