i know a lot of guys here have tried a lot of windshields. How does the LRS ultra 7 and 8 inch compare to the 7 inch windsplitter as far as height. i still want to see over the sheild, but my current windspitter could be an inch higher and I think it would make a big difference. Looking at the pictures a 8 inch LRS seems to appear a lot taler than a 7 inch windsplitter, more than an inch.

Well, just thought I would post an update. I got my 8 inch LRS ultra medium tint in the mail on Friday and bolted it on and went for a weekend ride. Overall quality on the shield is very good as well as very little to no distortion when looking through the flare. When compared to the windsplitter I took off it is definately a nicer ride. My only complaint is that I should have ordered light tint. The medium tint is pretty dark and am curious to see how it will be at night as I have found that when going uphill I seem to be looking through the shield rather than over. Might have been better off with a 7 inch but I am very satisfied to far.

I really like my LRS 8 inch, it seems a good compromise between full and stock. But unlike you, I wished I had gone the full dark tent, I don't look through it and dark would look better with my Vivid Black

I went from a 7" Windspliter to a 7" LRS. The LRS is a bit taller than the WS. The LRS is also night and day better IMO than the WS, performance and looks wise. The WS also deformed my previous 3-pouch bag to the point where I couldn't sell it.
