If any FLHRCI owners out there have gone beyond the factory attempt at a classic look, please post your pics and what you did. I would like to do more to my 05 FLHRCI to give it a more nostalgic look, but I need some ideas.
I guess this is a like or hate look but I sure didn't take the conservetive route. I am kind of shooting for the 60's duo glide look. I did try to buy bubble bags from a company in Central Penna. but they dont make them to fit the Road King shocks, just Softails. I'm not sure about the twin rails....very hard to line up with bags

Your approval means alot to me, I've always admired your bike in a big way...the stereo is from http://www.motorcycletunes.com/default.asp
inexpensive but works very good as long as I'm using my large windshield...
I think the place where I got these bags (cavelry) on ebay makes them for a vtx...I know the do for vulcans...have a great day...Bob
Looks really good! I'm shooting for a '65 look, may do paint also, but not sure yet.
I bet there's some great paint shops in CA that can help you do it. I have a big coffee table book titled "100 years of HD" and there are really some great looking paint jobs that should appeal to you.
