Default Maggie Valley Residents
Planning on a 3-4 day trip down in that area starting on the 13th. What are the weather people saying regarding a possible dry out from this long stretch of wet, stormy weather?

It's pretty much always going to be afternoon thunderstorms. That is just the norm in beautiful east Tn.

You'll love it down there; we are leaving July 3rd for a 10 day ride from Philly to the BRP, then 2 days in Memphis (Graceland). Heading back home up the Mississippi. Don't forget to got to the Wheels of Time.

If it does dry up, try staying at one of the camp grounds in M.Valley or Cherokee. We stayed there a few years back, camped next to a stream and a Cherokee Lad came by and sold us fresh caught trout. Ahhhh Good Times! Beautiful area to ride.

I would imagine you are visiting Wheels THROUGH Time - remember they are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. I say that because I just visited Maggie Valley with the sole purpose of going and they were closed the two days I was there. My fault, but pissed me off!

Planning on a Sunday visit........Tail of the Dragon on Monday for less 4 wheel vehicle traffic..
