anybody use

2005 ultra ,,kuryakyn pt#1188, saddle shields,, do they really work on keeping the heat off the back of the legs,, are they worth buying,, it gets hot out here and looking to disapate some heat,

i would recommend looking at rj originals,or captain itch crotch cooler,both work better imo and are not cheep plastic.

I have the Harley ones on the Limited.

They work well, they put a lot of hot air on the wife's boots.

She seldom complains about it but she has mentioned it.

I'd say they are worth it, they do catch and throw a lot of hot air downward.

I have the Kuryakn's on my RoadKing Classic. I covered them with leather to match the leather bags etc. They work great. I live in AZ. where it's 115 now and nothing is cool. But on normal days they deflect the heat off my inner thighs.
