Ha! -As an aside, my BMW R100RS sat for two years with no Sta-Bil or anything else in the tank while I had a couple shoulder and C-Spine surgeries.....
Was absolutely certain she would need a complete BMW Carb rebuild and clean-out.....
Put the new battery in, sprayed some ether into the under-the-tank air intakes, and she cranked for only about 4 seconds, and started right up!!!!! -There was a little bit of hesitating for about 20 seconds, then she settled into her lumpy normal idle with the choke on.....
Just don't use that crappy Ethanol Gasoline!!!!!
I DO put Sta-Bil in my Harleys, the Beemer, snow blower, and lawn mower at the end of each's season's, and have never had a problem with start-up and run for the new season.....

I have been looking and calling all the local HD shops and nobody had them. Got my Reda today ($33 TTD off ebay) and will be filling it with 93 non E tomorrow. Have had way too many close calls lately. I don't guess I will let it stay in the bag for more than a month or so before I run it through my bike and refill.
