Default Klockwerks

Installed the 8.5" Klockwerks windscreen a couple days ago. Tried it out in truck traffic, rain and normal riding. Thing works slick and front end is a lot more stable than stock. I have been looking at them for awhile but wasn't sure about the hype. Talked to a guy at the ABATE summer party who actually had one and he was very positive. Glad now I made the purchase. Next test will be the end of the month road trip to Deal's Gap to ride the Tail of the Dragon.

I have the 6" KW shield (changed from the stock 4" SG shield) and love it. I think you will find that you do too.

I've tried various makes and heights over 2-3 years. Presently using the Klockwerks 8.5" (?) clear, seems to work great, even with my windshield hard bag:

Only minor drawback: if I look down on road thru windshield, images look distorted.

Definitely a great shield + the 8.5" fits a 3-pouch w/s bag nicely...

I have the 8 1/2" and it was just high enough that the top was right a eye level. I lowered it about 1" and it is great now. I also have a 6 1/2, but it was a little short, and also would not allow for my fairing mounted Zumo 660.

I would love to be able to put the 3 pouch bags on, which I can't do with the 6" (I have a 1 pouch bag). HOw did you lowere the windshield?
