Default Road Glide Bars - Again

I was looking in the new American Bagger Mag and I saw an add for Hells Foundry. http://www.hellsfoundry.com/

I saw this set of bars: http://secure.netsolhost.com/177731....tegory_Code=P7

There are 1.25" drilled but they say they are stainless, can someone tell me the difference between the look of Stainless and Chromed.

Thanks,

Dang that place is proud of their stuff! I like the chrome gauge holder, which is plastic, 199.00 + you have to send them yours. Those bars are nice but IMO not worth that much money. I use stock chrome heritage bars and they work great. 50.00 at the dealer.

I was thinking the same thing about the price, but I was not sure if the Stainless was making it worth that much. Sounds like I want to stick with Chrome.

If you want stainless, all stock harley bars are stainless steel or you can get them in chrome for a few more bucks.

That answers my question, I did not know the stock ones are stainless. I see I can get my stock bars chromed for like $50, my bike hass some other bars on it and they are not comfortable to me. I sat on a new one at the dealer and I liked the stock bars, I might as well spend a few extra $'s to get them in chrome.

Thanks,

I was looking at the bars at Hells Foundry as well. I liked the fact that they were the same as stock except for being fatter and drilled for internal wiring but I think $190.00 for a set of plain old stainless bars is way out of line.

To spend that kind of $$$ go with Wild'1s if you want close to stock look at the 513's - super cool - I have both the 513's and the 517's for my RG - I will keep them both - right now I am running the 517's - better reach for me - but I really do like the look of the 513's ?? Choices??????????????

The 513's are pretty much like stock RG bars, No? (81/2 inch mini apes). I think the 515's (10 inch) would have a little more attitude and still be useable for aggresive riding of the twisties. JMHO

I just added Wild 1's WO 504 to 2007 Road Glide. I am 6'1". They look and feel awsome and work with stock cables. They give a very nice low profile look.
