I'm done most the chrome black on my EG standard. Gonna do the Exhaust now. While exhaust is off the Alum covers are easy to get to and was thinking of doing them black too?? Would love to see photos of black covers on silver/blonde engines. I have also thought about the satin chrome powder on some softail covers?
Took me a while but got some covers power-coated and exhaust ceramic-coated as long as I was putting a Fullsack header on.
Heat Shields and mufflers turned out nice but really not digging the black on silver motor. It is different. Maybe it will grow on me? At any rate gives me an excuse to do the heads, as lomg as I'm gonna have the valve train apart to get the rea of the covers coated...
