lets break this down a little more. who has done electrical mods to their bikes, I know and just about everyone knows about the garage door mod, looking for the cool easy and cheapest mods you can make.

 

Not sure this is what you are looking for but take a look at www.cellset.com.

Has a lot of neat boxes that are inexpensive. The web site is terrible so you have to really look around to find the cool stuff.

I have two of his boxes. One switches audio between my GPS and my satellite radio so I always hear the GPS when it has something to say. I also have another box that hooks into the headphone circuits so you can talk on your phone through the GPS using the Harley headsets. Much more on this sit than just cell phone stuff.

 

I've done the radio shack siren install to compliment the silent Harley security system...$8

the reason why i chose this is because the diy mod is more than half about the garage door opener. talk about beating a dead dog

 

What's wrong with putting the garage door remote in the windshield bag? It's worked for on the last 2 ultras.

 

I don't have windshield bags however I bought a mini door remote and zip tied it to the GPS mount stem. Works perfect and the GPS caddy protects it from getting wet.
