I was thinking about putting some guards around my hard bags on my 07 FLHX.....I found some on EBay off a 08 Touring.....I contacted the seller to see if they would fit my bike and he said he didn't know and that I would have to check with a dealership or someone with more knowledge.....so here I am again after getting sound advise on my passenger backrest.
It looks like they will fit, but they are missing the lower centre mount. The link for Ronnies shows what I mean. I'm not sure if it can be bought separately.

.....that the bag guards were missing a black bar that supports the bottom of the hard bags as well as the tailpipes.....I was able to find them on EBay for only $29......in total I still spent less than $200 so I feel very good about that.
To install them, I will have to remove the filler body parts and modify them so I can still have the fillers installed with the bag guards......shouldn't be to hard, "knock on wood".
But thanks again for everyone that offered help and advise.
