I bought it as part of my extended warranty and sure enough during the first or second month I had a flat. The warranty covered it at no cost to me whatsoever.I'm pretty sure the Dunlap warranty only covers defects I have a copy of it but it's at home and I'm at work now.

Have you researched it on their website? If a warranty from Dunlap exists, I am sure it would be referenced there. I have tire and wheel coverage with my ESP and no deductible.

I have checked out the site and the way I understand it, I am covered by Dunlop for just the tire as long as it has 50% or more tread left on it and it cannot be fixed. I did a search for posts for members that have actually been through it and couldn't find anything. So far, I put in a plug in my tire about 2000 miles ago and now I have 3/8" cut with a piece of metal in it. I have about 6000 miles on the tire.
Just found this in "what is not covered"

Tires rendered unserviceable by road hazard–type damage such as impact breaks, punctures, cuts or snags; or as a result of an obstruction on the motorcycle, fire, corrosives, running while flat, misalignment, improperly maintained balance, suspension deficiencies, improper inflation, overloading, improper mounting or rim fitment; or by spinning, as in mud, snow, sand, on ice or during on-the-motorcycle balancing or dynamometer testing.
Why call it a road hazard warranty?

the mfg warranty is to cover defects in materials and workmanship. not for road hazards. there is an tire and wheel package that you can purchase as part of the esp that will cover those things. but the key here is if you don't purchase additional coverage, then you are only covered for mfg defects.

That's why all sellers offer warranties.
