When I bought my new road king a few months ago I had the dealer put on a pig tail so I could use my battery tender. Yesterday I was at the dealership and I happened to notice they had a few Ultras on the floor with the pig tails already installed and the pig tails had a small light that was flashing. I didn't remember the light on mine flashing and when I checked it, I noticed it had the light but it doesn't flash like the ones at the dealership.
Any thoughts? If it has anything to do with the security system, my bike is the 110 anniversary edition and it did come with a security system.
Thanks for that post SpiderPig. In the past I've had the older versions without the light. Evidently the new version has a light that flashes when the battery is low. So I guess it's a good thing my light isn't flashing!
Love this forum.
There is a new battery tender cable out. It comes with a light in the end that flashes when your battery needs charged, I seen it in the HD catalog online yesterday.
might have to check them out , keep mine on a tender if parked very long but would let you know if maybe your tender malfunctioned or forgot to plug in the other end or something
