Dennis Kirk is wrong! Older bikes like my 1990 used an MT rear and it will certainly fit, however your bike came stock with an MU. Your owners/service manual will confirm. The tyre on your bike will as well!
If you always ride solo and are not very heavy an MT will do, however if like me you ride 2-up loaded to the gunnels and close to your bike's gross weight limit, then stay with the MU and it's higher load rating.

I did find the MU for the rear at Dennis Kirk, will be here Monday. The front is still a MT will be here Monday also... Thanks for helping.
