Thumbs up

I have had Xotic Customs Air Ride on my bike for a little over a year.
Once you find your sweet spot they are great.

I added an air tank before they released theirs.

I also installed a dual pressure gauge where the Air Temp gauge was in the fairing.

I have an A/M radio and removed CB, so I wired the CB switch to control up and down. I do caution that if you go this route, get the micro relays from DEI made for alarms. They are small and prewired. I was running straight off the switch before adding the relays and burned up the switch after about 4 months...

Shocks set too soft and you will bottom out... too firm and it rides like a rigid frame....
Find that sweet spot in the middle, different pressures 1 up vs 2 up, and you don't even notice bridge expansion joints!
My wife LOVES the ride ...when I set it right...

Lifetime Warranty, and the only Air Ride kit to list 5" travel. At least they were when I got mine.

Out of curiosity, why would you want to ride your bike 2" higher than stock?

I don't ride aired all the way up a lot, but a little extra clearance when needed... loading into a trailer with a steep breakover angle for instance...working on the bike with it aired up gives a little more clearance to clean and work if needed. I use the heck out of mine.

I can get to the rear tire to scrub the white walls easier!

What are your usual pressure settings for 1up and 2up? That'll give me a starting point.

I don't have a gauge so I can't tell you. I can tell you I hold the switch for about 5 seconds for riding solo...7-10 sec for 2up. I do not have a tank so it takes a bit to air up.

Has anyone used their x-series shocks? They look like monroe's only with a shorter extended length so they wont hit your exhaust. Anyone have experience with them?

I contacted a vendor about the x-series shocks. I was told they are custom made by Monroe for xotic.
