I finished up on my 2012 Street Glide. Decatted headpipe, Rinehart slip-ons, Ness Big Sucker. Finally installed a tuner. Bought a Power Commander V from Fuel Moto. Man does it make a difference. I was using the FL-Vieds before the tuner. The bike is so much more responsive through all the gears and rpm ranges. Totally happy with my decision on buying a tuner. I do have one issue though. After riding and I park the bike in the garage, later I have a slight gas odor in the garage. Is this normal on a stage 1 air cleaner? I know the air cleaner is not sealed like the stock cleaner. But never smelled gas in garage before I added the Ness Big Sucker. Anybody else had this issue?
I never smelled gas like that after putting my pcv on, without looking at your map I cannot comment. I even increase the gas in my idle circuit 5% and still no rich gas smell?
I did a complete stage 1, but have not had that issue. I'd just keep an eye on things (ground having raw fuel, drips on the engine, etc) and go from there. You should be all good though!
My bike does this periodically. It did before PCV and after PCV and after PV. Seems to be worse if tank is less than full.
Let me correct myself and say Normal for me to smell gas. No fuel dripping .
Lately it has been in the 99-110 degree range here and I have been smelling gas . But I have the SEST. I was going to switch to the PCV to see if I could cure that problem.
But ^^^^^ Above post blows my theory out of the water lol.
