I have the adjustable one I would like to sell. I installed it but only used it a few times with the harley hammock seat. Decided to stay with the Corbin for now. I liked the ease of adjustment. My dad got one for his bike too and loves it. I would like to sell the dual hammock seat also.

My vote is for adjustable.

I have had both. I much prefer the adjustible. It gives you options while riding. Not everyone can get their passenger to change the settings on the non adj, sgoing down the raod. It comes off and goes back on wasier as well.

So how much do you have to have?

The adjustable works great for me. Being able to make adjustments on the fly is a plus and infinite tilt postions as well as height adjustment makes it a winner in my book.

My bike came with the non-adjustable backrest. I rode home from the sellers house, took it off and never put it back on. They're definitely not worth 199 plus 30 or 40 bucks for the the "not included" mounting hardware. That screw adjuster doesn't do anything but allow the top of the backrest to pivot back a little. I'm 6'2" and it pushes me forward and forces you to sit straight up. On the ex's heritage without the windshield, the backrest was nice. On my Electra Glide with the fairing there isn't enough wind on me to make a difference. I also push back into the seat. That's not possible with the backrest on. if I was shorter maybe it would be a better fit. I would definitely at least sit on a bike with the rest installed and put your feet on the boards and see.

I picked up the adjustable only yesterday and fitted it last night. With "only" Ł100 difference between the two I'm glad I went for the more versatile one but I'm unable to say if it was really worth it yet.

I'm glad I bought the non-adjustable one. I lost a lot less money when, after a few trips, I discovered I hated the back rest.

The adjustable one is worth the extra money. The ability to change on the fly greatly adds to your comfort.

I have the adjustable one. On long rides I am able to adjust to be more comfortable. It also makes it easier for the wife to get on the bike.

....so what is it about the hammock seat that you don't like? seen so many comments about how comfey they are. just wondering, almost bought one and might be in the market for one. i recently purchased a day-long from russell but interested to hear the reason for parting with the hammock.
