Been running a Clearview recurve with vent port and has got ridden almost all the buffeting,
also have a Clearview recurve without the vent port, get the vent port it helps alot with
buffeting, and the windshield is thick enough to not vibrate like the stocker does, just be
carefull not to over-tighten the screws when swapping hardware.

I don't think they're all that ugly, just can't get used to the buffeting with them. Has anyone tried the Long Ride Shield? Does that flair on top help reduce buffeting like they claim?
That's what I'm running. A stock height Long Ride tinted shield with the flip on top. It helps, but doesn't eliminate the buffeting. Then again, I'm 6'4", so not sure what will totally eliminate it for me.
The stocker was too tall for me, especially after MCC took 2" out of my seat...I couldn't fathom looking thru it. I went w/the moco 14" tinted. I can see over it or crouch behind it.
The beauty is no-buffeting with or w/o a helmet. I'm a lil' fella at 5'6 and 3/4".
