Silver Face Gauge Kit question!
I'm contemplating installing the Silver Face Gauge Kit on my '02 Ultra. My question is, why would I have to buy the $70 installation kit to do this install. What's different that I just can't swap out wires and install the new gauge? Also, if I change out the tach and speedo will I need to purchase another install kit for these?

The install kit referred to is for the FLHT model, not your Ultra. The kit is required because the FLHT does not come with the air temp or oil pressure gauges. Also, I assume you are buying the silver face gauge kits from the HD catalog for pre-04 models. The '06 Street Glide gauges don't work in pre-04 bikes.HTH
