Hello. Does anyone know if Harleys Boom Audio Music Tank Player Pouch(#76000193) will work as a EZ Pass holder? Currently have a pouch from www.LedgendaryUSA.com. Cant get this to work for me(attached to left side of bar below the fairing) Looking for something easy on-easy off. Thanks.
I picked up the EZ tag recently and the woman said I can attach it to the underside of the bag lid. Of course it's still in my truck, may try tape first
Mines in my Saddlemens windshield bag with no problems. I have a NY one, and they have recently come out with a pass that is physically half the size of the originals. Try and get one of those. Its about 1"x1"x3" instead of the 3"x4" square.
Maybe it's just mine, but my EZ Pass tag is very sensitive to where I am in the toll lane. I have found that i have to be perfectly centered in the lane. Just passing the info along...it is mounted on my windshield BTW
I stuck mine inside one of the bags on the rear slanted part if you know what I mean and I never had a problem with it getting picked up. It's out of the way and always there. Just used the sticky Velcro to attach it.
Not on the Illinois Tollway...
Tried it..done it.. didn't work
or at the Ill-Ind Toll Gate.. I had to get it out of the bag and hold the thing up to get the gate to open.. had some pissed off people behind me..lol
As per my conversation with a rep from EZ pass you really don't need the tag, every time you go through a toll with out it, a picture of your plate is taken, the computer then scans your plate against accounts, It then applies the fee to that account. However your plate must be registered to that account.
I have been doing this for years with out any Issues, keep in mind that this will not work in gated toll plaza's, I don't travel through any gated plaza's.
