You will be happy with the comfort profile saddlebag guards. They make a big difference for the passenger. I have them on mine and as usual you have to wonder why Harley doesn't just use these to begin with. I know... just another way to sell more parts.
I took them off my RKC when I had it. But with the leather bags they were a little more forgiving if the bike decided it wanted to lay down for a nap.
On the Ultra I have still have them and will probably keep em on. I raised the passenger foot boards up and installed the passenger Aux pegs for my vertically challenged wife and she is happy with that.
