Default Chrome Frontend Questions..

A few quick questions...

I want to do a chrome front end, but don't quite have the cash or ability to do the lowers.

What would the bike look like with everything else chromed including the wheel, rotors, cowbells, and brake lines?
I am thinking also of doing grey calipers from a Vrod instead of chrome calipers.....

If anyone has any pics of their bike with a chromed out front end minus the lower legs, I would really appreciate it.....

Thanks

Save up and do it right the first time. Stock lower legs with all of your other updates won't look good at all. It's kind of like buying a new front wheel and cheaping out on the rear wheel and leaving it stock. Incomplete.

You might consider removing your lowers and sending them off for chroming or maybe even one of those swap deals. I went with the HD chromed lowers and after 17,000 miles, they are holding up great.

I stayed with the black Brembos because I like to maintain adequate contrast. I did, however, remove the caliper hardware and replaced it with polished stainless bolts from Alloy Boltz.

I replaced the caliper bolts and snapped this pic before I put on the Agitators:

Save up and do it right.

Keep in mind that most dealers have service specials over the winter months that might make it able for you to afford it.

I'm with Low Country Joe - do all or nothing (by the way, Joe, that is one great lookin' Limited). I wanted chrome wheels and chrome front end too. Could only do the wheels at the time. Now I have cash for chrome front end, so it's coming soon. One step at a time and doing it right. Only my opinion, of course.

I am going to have to join in with the rest of them. Do it all, save the cash until then. I chromed up the front end on my Heritage, it makes a huge difference.

You could always polish the lowers until you could afford chrome. I did the lower exchange with ***** Shiny,I have about 225.00 in my lowers.
