I've owned both and both took time to get it to where the bike suited my needs. I sold my Streetglide and bought a Road Glide. First ride on it when it was mine was horrible and I hated my decision but after changing seats, wind screen and making the bike mine I love my Road Glide more...yeah I said it, I love my Road Glide we have a special bond but I will sell it if the price is right
That's a good looking RG!!! Might have to ride your way over thanksgiving and check it out while Im home for the holiday if I don't buy now.
[QUOTE=tj316;11612508]Riding a Road Glide is liking marrying a slim , beautiful , large breasted women , there are more of you marrying fat , ding dong eating pigs by about 5-1 , but that doesn't mean I have to marry a whale just because the majority of you do , enough said[/QUOTE
When I look at your Toad Glide I just don't see a slim, beautiful, large breasted woman, as much as I do this.

I'm not able to ride the breakout now because the wind kills my neck and gives me the worse headache ever now.
I have both bikes. The batwing has better wind protection if that is the problem you are trying to solve. Add a good windshield, like a Klockwerks, and the HD adjustable wind deflectors that mount to the batwing and you are good to go.

I picked up a rg ultra in may and already have 9500 miles logged in and love it. The ultra comes with a 18" clear windshield in place of the pointless one on the custom.
Looks like I will be picking up my new 2013 Street Glide next week.Getting new bars and a few other goodies installed on it
9 out of 10 people prefer the batwing. Please check with your local dealer before buying. If the urge to ride a sharknose lasts longer than 4 hours be sure to seek medical help as serious eye damage could ensue.
I'm not able to ride the breakout now because the wind kills my neck and gives me the worse headache ever now. Not even supposed to be riding or driving. Yesterday we went on a local benefit ride only and by the end of the ride I had a migraine and my right side had went numb.
I guess pain and numbness isn't enough to tell you something's wrong and for you to take it easy until your body's well. Good Luck. I hope common sense kicks in before something serious happens to you.
If I could have, I would have high lighted this but I'm on my iPad.
