after market chrome switch housing controls
I am repairing my 07 RK Classic after a little accident so I decided to change my stock black housing controls and stumbled across this issue. My 07 RK has cruise control appearantly added by the dealer. I have looked high and low for the chrome housing that will fit. My only luck so far has been @ the stealership! They are asking $169 for housings only, when i can get housing, brake/clutch lever, master cylinder in a kit for about $ 200. has anyone come across this issue as well and found aftermarket housings that come with cruise control and without radio? I do have a fairing on it with a radio but do not want to integrate that into my controls as i am pretty sure it would be a task initself without using a harley head unit. Any help finding these chrome housings will be greatly appreciated. These are the last parts i need to get back on the road and having my housings chromed are out of the question as they got damaged in the wreck.

Aftermmarket controls
ChicanRK, Even though I have note installed the hand contols .I have added various H.D. chome parts from my dealer. The assessory chome from H.D. is not made directly by Harley. It's supplied to Harley from the aftermarket ,kuryakyn makes most of it. When I installed the adjustable passenger pegs on the rear of my Ultra, my dealer told me they were made by Kuryakyn for Harley. If that helps you..

I just put on the kuryakyn switch cover, brake/clutch dress up and levers with my new L. A. Choppers 10" Twin Peaks handle bars. My RKC has cruise control, no radio. It is a bit of a hassle installing the switches. Patience required.
