Default Pulled the trigger on a cam...

Well I did it! With much help from Jason with S&S. ( That youtube thing rocks!) And a lot of tuning help from Steve with Vance and Hines fuelpac. I got the woods 408-44 cam in and running great. I know that it is very long in duration but I wanted it to sound as good as it runs. I have listened to a lot of bikes with cams, idle, and some you don't really know if there is a hopped up cam in them or not. NOT so with the 408-44. I spent all my money on the cams and install kit, plus the bearing tool so I didn't have any left for a tuner. Fuelpac was very helpful in getting mine dialed in. Dont let anyone tell you that a fuelpac doesn't support cam's. If you had something more usual (like a 222 or a 204's) They would probably have a map for it.

I might try out a Thundermax later on when I get my cash flow repaired.
Right now I am thrilled!

What kind of gun did you shoot it with? Just kidding, considering a cam swap this winter so I've been researching cams myself.

You would be wrong about that...I just didn't post any pictures of it...
Can somebody tell me how to do that? GriffinDemon is partially right ...I didn't take many pics as S&S Jason tells the story... but I did take a couple.

How's about a YouTube video of it running? I want cams, don't really care about the performance so much as I care about that nasty sound!

You might try www.photobucket.com
There you can upload your pics. Go to library on top tab, then upload from browse your pc.After upload goto your library find picture and click on the sprocket, gear icon whatever..you click that and then goto links and it will give you options to add the pic to whatever. Just click on the line you wanna use and it will auto copy then insert into forum reply. Then preview to verify correct then post,

Hope that helps ya man.
