I have both. I initially bought the Clymer manual thinking that I can save myself a considerable amount of cash. I have an '06 Street Glide and do all the service on my bike. I soon realized that Clymer is missing a bunch of very important info.
As an example, I replaced my hand grips using Clymer as a guide and wound up cracking the tip off the delicate front brake switch because Clymer never told me to maintain a gap on the front brake lever upon re-install of the right grip assembly. Another example: they also do not have a complete listing of all the critical fasteners that need periodic attention. These are just two of the many differences.The HD manual has all the informationyou need to do any job properly right down to thesmallest detail. Get the HD manual - it is worth the money.
