Wow--they are fugly as hell.....Probably why you don't see them.
Thought the same thing.....If you want one, wait a little longer and your probably see them half price......The front piece is a decoration, no protection in a crash.....
Wow, they look like something from the post apocalyptic period... however If you read the website the ugly muzzle is removable. Once it is removed it does not look bad, but it resembles every other 59.00 helmet out there...
FROM THE BELL WEBSITE:
Purpose built to guard against the elements, the new Rogue has the look of a half helmet with the comfort of a 3/4. Featuring an adjustable and removable muzzle, the Rogue offers an innovative solution for exceptional rider comfort. Add in a lightweight composite shell and ultra-comfortable interior, and you've got the perfect weapon for a day on the road.
That looks a little like mad-max/Fallout **** there-pretty cool-does the muzzle allow you to breath well? Afford decent wind protection? I am looking for something that will do well during the winter riding months--I have a FF but they're leftover's from my "metric" era and they're crazy blue.
I actually have one. Its not as big as everyone thinks it is. It only looks that way because of the extended lower half of the helmet. The muzzle takes a little getting use to and rubs across the bridge of your nose. If you take out the winter liner then its ok. If you have a huge snot box (nose) then you might still get the rub across the bridge of your nose unless you adjust the muzzle all the way out. If you have to do that then you might as well take the muzzle off. Adjusting it is another area you have to play with to get it just right. But once you are set then all you have to do is loosen one side to take off. As far as fit its true to size and comfortable. I always wear a half helmet and figured I would use this one for cold weather riding. Not bad helmet in my opinion.
