Default Cams

Have a project bike its 04 roadking with an 05 engine.. going to check tensioners and replace cam bearing so while in in there maybe replace cams. I want some mid range torque and a little attitude. I have the engine out so I will reuse stock pushrods. funds are limited so I have to stick with chain driven cams what do you guys suggest! Thanks

Thumbs up

Agreed! + + on Andrews 26. Proven cam, good value and easy on the pocket book.

I've had 26's and consider them more of a low end cam. I'd use 204's in that 88.

Either is a good choice, more 'attitude' with the 204's though.

I have SE 204's, great cam, pulls thru 5,000 rpm's and will sound hotter then the 26's

Between the 2 the SE 204 will give more performance and sound hotter then the 26, the Andrews 37 is closer to the SE 204 then the 26
