If a Goldwing and a Victory bumped uglies the new Ultra would be their offspring. I think I'm going to run down to Home Depot and get some toilet handles to stick on my saddle bags to start my "2014 upgrades" Not!!!

Ya but it has a touch screen on it man! I mean come one that is the top shelf of items that should be on a bike. Very Important accessory. People should trade their bikes in to get one right away.
While I agree they are catering to the folks that like the foreign looks somewhat, they are at least trying to catch up to this century.
I can't stand the latches or the batwing vent either, but there are some good improvements. For $1500 more than previous models I don't think they are doing too badly.

Agreed, add me to the list that does not like the look of the new fairing and bags. Technology belongs at home not on the road. I like my tunes while riding but all that BS is not needed nor wanted on my ride. I do like the new saddlebag crash guard that swoops down giving the passenger a little more leg room. And they finally added all the small upgrades everyone typically does which is about time IMHO.
All in all, it looks like I will be keeping my current ride until it dies or they come out with something I actually like.

And you guys called our Road Glide fairings FUGLY!
I like the new styles. its about time MOCO stepped it up a bit. I'm sure they did it for no other reason than the fact that Victory and Indian are nipping at their heels.
That said...I will not trade mine for one but it is a long needed update, imo.
