I was out and about with the Ol' Gal today doing errands and decided to stop at ABC HD in Waterford, MI to see if they had a new model in stock ... One of the salesman met me and I asked if we could see one ... He was courteous enough to walk us back through the service department to a holding are that they had a couple of Limited Models sitting ... One was Black ( a Trike ) and one was two tone gray and they were nice enough but the styling changes weren't my cup of tea ( maybe they'll grow on me? ) ... After spending a few minutes checking things out I thanked the salesman and we walked around the building to leave when the Ol' Gal says "They remind me of a Gold Wing" .... Hmmmm, Ya know I think she has a point!

 

Saw a couple limiteds in person, and I have to say I like them. I'd buy one if I was in the market for one... and if I could afford the 27-28k. But not likely anytime soon.

 

I saw a back limited and a 2 tone red limited last night. I like the look of the dash and radio when lighted but didn't care for the toggle switches. The saddle bags pins are protected from from theft now. The locking mechanism was nice too. The tour pack latch is nice too. Seems harder to pry open. The air filter cover looks ugly. Overall the bike was nice but I don't think I will own one.

 

I ordered 2 ABS bearings, and 2 standard bearings and LSHD cancelled my order. I'm still waiting for a reason from them. In the meantime, are there any other HD sources like them?

At my dealers was a 13 Limited and 14 Limited side by side. All you could see was the subtle changes that were improvements.

Absolutely nothing resembling a totally plastic encased Gold Wing or BMW for that matter.

Both could be seen as the same by a non bike rider walking by.
