After looking at the 14's in person and seeing all of the upgrades to stuff, I decided to stop looking for a new used bike (12' or 13') and just bite the bullet. It rides like a dream.. even better than the new 13's I test rode.
You made a smart and well reasoned decision. Newer the better.
I bought a new bike in July....happy so far....but if things progress, I will not hesitate to jump for new....fk the naysays you did good...REALLY.
Nice ride sofa king, is it a RKC with hardbags? Does the bag bolts/pins match up with the earlier modules? If so I would shop around for a used set of leather bags on ebay for those nice Sunday afternoons when you putt down to the park with the windshield off.

Enjoy.
Per the sales team, the spokes are standard equipment on the king only.. and I'm just guessing that the WWW are as well, if you don't go for the wheel upgrade. I'm not sure how much I believe that though. I didn't do any research on the standard equipment for the king before I went in, so I kinda just took their word for it. The only pics I saw were the ones on the HD website, and they all show the kings having the same wheels as the SG's.. But there are disclaimers on there about standard equipment. Kinda nice this year having the cruise standard.
I'm not sure if the bags would match up, kinda doubt it, but I love the hard bags. It's almost like a factory mix of the FLHR and the FLHRC (which is discontinued).
Thanks guys! Everything is stock in those pics.. seat trim and bars. The seat is outrageously uncomfortable. It sits me forward way too far, and bunches my pants at the crotch (I'm 6'1"), and I need a new seat yesterday. The bars are awesome, although I need to rotate them forward an inch or two. Once I grab a seat, I'll go from there to see where the bars need to be.. (Until i get new bars)
So it's true. They finally woke up and put the bars on it that should have been on them all along! Good job HD.
