I have been thinking of installing a stage IV kit with on my 2013 Street Glide. Any comments as to the durability and reliability of the bike after installing this kit? I'm a little concerned about destroying the remainder of the warranty for the engine, the bike is only a few months old with 5500 miles on it and I've already had to replace the transmission.
Build would consist of: Stage IV kit, SE air cleaner, Jackpot head pipe and V&H monster rounds, maybe.
Dealer has 15% of parts and 10% of labor if installed by October.

The third gear bearing went out with 2600 miles on the bike. MoCo had to replace all of the internal components.
I'm not to concerned with the top end after installing the kit, I'm more concerned with the bottom end. As I understand it the bottom end is the weak point in these engines.
I can't help thinking it is worth working out the cost of the Stage 4, then looking around to see what some of the top tuning shops can do for you. We have several HDF sponsors who will probably be pleased to help and you may be surprised just what can be done.

I know I've been thinking the same thing, thats why I asked and why I'm still sitting hear reading instead of being down at the dealership ordering parts.
