Just test road a 14 street glide. Liked the ride, but I felt for cramped, and so did the wife compared to my train. I am 6'5", she is 6. Is there anything out there to give more leg room for the both of us besides hiway pegs for me? The wife also felt she was pushed up closer to me, couldn't find space between us. She could also use more leg room. Are there any seats with the length longer? And, do I have to use the floor boards or can I put pegs there too?
Thanks for your help!

I have a mustang super solo puts me 1.25 inches further back than stock. I also used the v-twin goodies floorboard extenders to get my boards out 1 inch.
well first if your gonna ride with her all the time I wouldn't get a sg. but yes they do make extended reach highway pegs and they make passanger floorboards you can drop lower. a seat is not gonna fix your issue of leg room. I have kuryakin switch blades that act just like pegs so I don't have to use my floorboards and be cramped you just have to look for accessories for the bike. just remember you buy a Harley then make it fit you you don't buy it because it fits
I'd try a Harley fit shop...different handlebars?.....Plus you could put taller shocks on it but that's just gonna raise it off the ground....But you are pretty tall....Also might check into lower passenger pegs/floorboards as I know some you can raise...
So I guess I'm just kinda screwed? Guess I'll wait and see what after market parts come out over the winter. Hopefully some type of taller bars come out!
As the proud owner of a SG I must say that if I was going to do it all over again, especially buying a new 2014, I'd go with the Ultra. More comfy seat and more passenger room and taller shocks. If your set on the SG then you will need to comb the aftermarket. You can change out the floorboards for pegs, change the seat and shocks, but will have to wait on the handle bars.
First, don't buy a 2014. Next, there is a tall rider thread floating around the forums that has a wealth of info. I probably spend 1,000 changing little things on my bike to accommodate my size. The only thing that limits my comfort now is my *** and lower back just can't take long stretches of sitting. I can still ride for 8-10 hours a day but I need to stop ever hour and a half to stretch a little.
