Street Glide is a stripped bike.
What is wrong with HD.
Huh? Stripped? Stripped of extra non-essential chrome and crap that weigh the bike down, yes. Stripped in the broader sense? Absolutely not!!! SG's have always come with extra stuff from the accessory catalog that people would've otherwise spent good money on. SG's have always had expensive accessory UPGRADES. So no, SG is NOT a stripped bike, and never has been.
Git into the wiring harness like on the SE SG with internally wired handlebars.
They are not setup for heated grips and all.
I understand you are a SG fan. But you can get a whole lot more bike in a Ultra and take off what you don't want.

HUH? Was this response written to me? It doesn't make much sense. You mention a SE SG which is a lot different than talking about a regular SG. Not that any CVO bikes are stripped. Then you say heated grips? I'm pretty sure there isn't a single Harley ever made that has heated grips as part of the wiring harness. Part of the TBW yes, but not part of the wiring harness. Plus, I'd be willing to bet the SE SG has the same TBW as the SE Ultra, so both so come with heated grip wiring.
Then you say you understand I m a SG fan? I'm a fan of all HD's but wouldn't say I like the SG more than the Ultra. I like them both for different reasons and I own an Ultra.
I agree you get more with an Ultra but stripping it doesn't get you a SG. You have to strip the Ultra and buy a lot out of the accessory book.
I was at Colonial HD in Petersburg yesterday, compared the SG, SGS and Ultra, I'd go with the SGS. I just liked the larger screen on the stereo head unit and the vivid inner fairing. It just looked better. The ultra was nice, but I wish the didn't have those light fender tip doodads.
