Ive confirmed with a very reliable source that the Roadglide will be a mid year realease and will include a new fairing integrated into the lowers (1 piece design). It will be offered in two models, custom and ultra and they will both be liquid cooled.
Project dakota has nothing to do with the new roadglide. Project dakota is Harley bringing the HD1 customization program to the touring line.
HD did hint at a major mid year release at the dealer meeting. Other then that, nothing else has been confirmed. A HD engineer, who is a customer of mine, is being very tight lipped. I can't get anything out of him!
A local dealer did say to me he also thought the RG would be a mid year release. He is basing it on some conversations and hints from local factory people.
