Default Question - Replacing Rocker Cover

I have some scratches in the chrome rocker cover on my 2010 Ultra classic. How hard is it to replace?

Real easy. Take off the gas tank and the bolts are all accessible.

Do you have a service manual? It will take all the guesswork out of it. So don't attempt it unless you do. It's not hard. You'll have to remove the console, the fuel tank and the rocker boxes. Takes about a half hour. You'll a need torque wrench and some finesse for a few of those hard to get to bolts.

Scratches are on the side of the lower cover. I just may have to live with the scratches. One of my spark plug covers came loose and bounce around before I discovered it.

Thanks all for the info. I do have a service manual. I'll check the video and service manual to see if I can tackle it.

For the record......you do not have to remove the console.
