My dealer has 4 ordered and one with my name on it. Word is there is a gap in the back to keep air going upward instead of deflecting towards the rider. Enough space under to open or close the vent. I will wait and see when it finally comes in.

There is a gap at the bottom of the bag to allow for the air flow. If you look at the picture, you can even see a little cutout on the leftside bag where you can operate the push button to open/close the vent.

I'm interested in this also. Seems that the smooth flow would be interrupted at a minimum and worst case, could cause buffeting and lack of access to the button. I'm hopeful and look forward to your guinea-pigging this for us. Thanks.

Any update on this bag? Does it reduce the effect of the vent at all?

Parts tells me they are supposed to ship on Nov 1st. One has my name on it when they arrive. I am also still considering the cigarette lighter adapter for the right side of the fairing.

I called my Dealer last week and the latest "release date" for the pouches has been moved out to the end of January. I've had them on order since August too and hope that they will get whatever the problem is worked out before long. A 5 month wait for them is getting old to me though, I hope that the wait is worthwhile.
