If nothing is wrong with your 11 why buy a 14? Do people at stoplights say hey is that a current year bike your on? It's not? Then your a nobody?
The difference between an 11 and a 14 is the amount of payments you have left.
But I have heard that if your use Amsoil that your payments go away.

Don't forget about the "new bike smell".

I really don't care what people think or say. If I did, I wouldn't buy anything because everyone thinks I'm nuts for buying the crap I buy anyway.

Why buy a '14? Simple, it's a better bike and gives me some of the things my '11 doesn't.
1. Bags I can open while sitting on the bike without touching the paint.
2. Killer Infotainment system with built-in Navigation.
3. Better colors. I'm tired of vivid black and want some color.
4. One touch opening of the gas cap lid.
5. Killer Reflex braking.
6. Love the new look faring.
7. Love the Jukebox slot thingy that stores the iphone in the faring.
8. One latch opening of the tour-pack.
9. Tour-pack has retractable wire inside.
10. I like the new wheels better.
11. My Wife sat on the back of a '14 and said it's hundreds times better than the '11 for her.
12. I wouldn't mind the extra power.
13. Get to start a 2-year warranty all over. Current bike has no warranty.

These are just some off the top of my head.

I'm glad I started this thread. I learned some things. I think, in the end, I'll stick to the Limited as both my Wife and I love it. And, instead of trying to make one bike do 2 or 3 things, I'll just get a 2nd bike someday.

The limited, while it costs more, is a better bang for your buck IMO. If you look at just the parts that were added to the limited that you could add to a 13, the price difference is more than covered, not to mention the things that are 14 specific. Add the LED lighting, bass ports, push button fuel door, and cams, it's well more than 1700 bucks. Not to mention the twin cool and reflex brakes.

If you look at the rear of the saddle bag supports, they look like they are cut out for a reason. I am betting we will soon see a CVO style light set up for that area. Then you could make the tour pack removable.

If you want a bike that LOOKS good, get one without a fairing, like RoadKing.

Even if you don't use the headsets the 4 speaker stereo on the limited is going to be better for two up than the two speaker set up on the Street Glide. If I were single I might have gone for a Street Glide but for two up the Limited is just better.

#9 - The 2014 limited I saw over the weekend had a gray nylon type material strap holding the lid open....Other then that, your probably right.....If you got the coin, go for it...

Wife would notice the Street Glide because it has no tour pak and stiffer ride than a Limited.
