Ok, so the front and rear brakes are interconnected above 20mph. But what happens in an emergency braking situation as speed falls off fast, and you drop below 20. Do you all of a suddenness lose the interconnect?

Got to thinking about this while riding my non-ABS 12 Ultra at about 46mph and a dog ran out in front of me. Ended up coming to a full stop because of the lady in front of me who ended up sideways to miss the poor mutt!
The linked braking activated based on the input of the speed sensor. If you are above 25 miles an hour and engage the brakes it calculates the response required to stop. It does not disengage as long as you are on the brakes. Suppose the dog runs in when you are travelling at 46 mph, you engage the brakes and stay on it You will get down to 0.
