I just bought a 2014 Ultra Limited. It is a great bike so far but it has the new infotainment system. I knew I was in trouble when they handed me 3 new manuals for the bike.
I have tried to input the stations I like into my radio and failed miserably. Can anyone please give me a clue as what I can do to set the stations? I find the station and try to set it to memory and screw it up. I would appreciate any and all assistance.
Thank you.
Manually got to the station you want and then press and hold the preset button you wish to use for that station until it beeps. Never mind you have the new setup.
Congrats on your new ride. I just brought my 2014 Ultra Limited home today and I am loving it. I had trouble with the presets too until I finally figured it out. Go to tuner so you are listening to the radio. Next, use the control button on the left-hand grip pushing it forward or backward to tune. Up and down is volume of course. Once you get to a station you like, then push the preset button and hold it down. I have the 6.5 screen and all I had to do was touch the preset such as 1 or 2, or 3 etc.. on the screen and keep my figure on the screen for 3 seconds or so and it saved.
I am thinking the manufactures would save tons of paper and money if they would just stop printing owners manuals...I don't think anyone bothers to read them...I find it easy to learn when I take the manual out to my car or bike and play with the gadgets while learning about them in the manual...It is also great reading material when on the porcelain throne.
